Lucas LIN
Lucas Lin is currently Chairperson of Synera Renewable Energy Co., Ltd. Before taking on this new role in 2022, he had been Chief Executive Officer of the company since 2014. Lucas spearheads the ongoing business development of offshore wind power and other scopes such as operation and maintenance. He also served as President, Project Director, and member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of Formosa 1 Wind Power Co., Ltd. for Taiwan's landmark offshore wind farm, overseeing the work of the organization, including EPC contracts of development projects, international fundraising, bank loans, HSE specifications, risk management, and government permits.
Chief Executive Officer
Anna SU
With in-depth financial and legal expertise, Anna Su has been leading Synera Renewable Energy Co., Ltd. as Chief Executive Officer since 2022. She joined the team in 2015, overseeing the financial planning and leading major investment decisions. Anna played a crucial role in 2017 in successfully inviting UK-headquartered Macquarie Green Investment Group and the Danish company Dong Energy (now rebranded to Ørsted) to invest and take part in Taiwan’s first-ever offshore wind project. Throughout the course, she managed to raise up to USD 120 million in investments financed by banks both at home and abroad and helped push forward the transaction for Phase 1 of Formosa 1 Offshore Wind Farm. Anna was also a key figure in the talks with the government on the power purchase agreement and feed-in tariffs. In 2019, she was promoted to Chief Financial Officer, acting as the interface between investors and the company.
Chief Operating Officer
Jim CHEN
Jim Chen is currently Chief Operating Officer at Synera Renewable Energy Co., Ltd. He joined the company in May 2022, overseeing the day-to-day business administration and operations and promoting organizational culture and vision by establishing policies and procedures pertaining to corporate management. Before joining Synera Renewable Energy, Jim assumed multiple important roles at Mott MacDonald Group, a UK-based international engineering consultancy, including Country Manager of Taiwan between 2016 and 2022 and Business Development Director of Taiwan between 2008 and 2016. On top of that, he also played a vital role in the development of Taiwan’s offshore wind industry since 2011 and served as the external consultant for the development and construction phases of Formosa 1 and Formosa 2 offshore wind farms.
Chief Technology Officer
Rasmus WANDRUP
Rasmus Wandrup joined Synera Renewable Energy Co., Ltd. in 2020 as Chief Technology Officer, leading and overseeing the technical aspects of offshore wind projects. Before joining the company, he served as Senior Consultant at K2 Management based in Denmark and Japan and took senior leadership roles at Vattenfall and Siemens Gamesa. During his time at Siemens Gamesa, Rasmus took part in the pilot floating project Hywind and had accrued substantial experience in several feasibility assessments for floating offshore power since then. He participated in the bidding, planning, construction, and operation and maintenance phases of many offshore wind projects the installed capacity of which totaled over 1 GW across Germany, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, and Denmark.
